Aw, man. I kept putting this piece down for days, weeks and even months at a time. It started out as a simple sketch that got away from me as my mind tripped over details…anyway, special thanks to Raye for inspiring me to finish! I know it’s kind of off, but that’s what I get for being so rusty…
She’s some kinda doll-bot most likely from a steampunk-inspired place, I envision her having a painted porcelain face and body parts made from metal. The key to her heart turns her on or off. I think the fish might be what guides her - like maybe it’s her eyes. Idk, haha. I like drawing fanciful, improbable thing.
Color to come, if I don’t botch it too terribly…!

This weekend I went up to L.A. to see my good friend Adaeze (http://sleeptron5000.tumblr.com) to celebrate her birthday! I sketched this image of her a couple years back, while sitting on the floor of her room in 15-20 minutes while she was on the phone. Gave it a sort of occult-ish spin, I s’pose, since she was mad at a guy at the time! She has it in a small black frame hanging in her living room.

I have a serious obsession with the faerie tale sisters, Rose Red & Snow White. An attempt to get down my version of Rose Red, who I envisioned in a tattered cloak and with a pair of 7-League boots she may or may not have stolen…
I get the feeling she’s looking for her sister (who has possibly been confused for a different Snow White entirely, the Fairest of them all).
